Minutes:

Rehearsals

LS: I’ve spoken with Sean, he’s going to sign the Technical Agreement. As far as rehearsal, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week SG will be in there for all of them. They’re not having any this week because of some charity thing they’re doing. I will drop in to one of them to get the Technical Agreement signed and sorted and then I’ll be back in the Workshop.

RC: Are there any full runs in that?

LS: I don’t know, I’ll message Sean and find out.

MS: I’d like to be in there as well if there’s a full run.

RC: Me too.

LS: I’ll get that sorted as soon as we have a full schedule I’ll let you guys know and we can sort that out.

Lighting

LS: Point 2 on the agenda; Lighting?

MSI need to ask Jace if I can have two followspot operators from the BTEC, if not I might have to ask Mikey and Tristan. I have an idea of my rig plan, the problem being that we’re out of dimmers. So blame Jace. We have enough lights, but nowhere near enough dimmers.

Sound

RC: I’m not going to lie, I have no idea of how any microphones I need or any of the information I need to go ahead with all the sound stuff. At the moment I’m looking more towards AV while I wait for the answers I need. I really need to speak with JS about everything with the sound and he hasn’t been in all week, despite being scheduled in.

Set Progress

LS: Set?

RC: Everything that can be built, is built. Everything except the door flat is painted with a base coat. We are starting to paint the add ons and stuff. I think we can get it all painted this week. Hopefully. If we do, then there’s not much point in being in next week. Unless we use the tie to draw up the rest of it ready to be cut out. I’ll decide that at the end of this week.

LSBudget and material invoices? I’ve had none.

RC: I haven’t done them. That’s why. I haven’t had chance to do them. I’ll get on with them as soon as I can. That might be what I end up doing next week, if we don’t come in and use the time to do paperwork.

LS: Where are we with AV?

RC: I’m on it. I need to test it, I need to create the video, I need to download the beginning part. I’ve spoken to Liv on the BTEC and she’s more than happy to operate the AV for us. We just need to confirm that with Jace, see if it’s okay to do that. If MS wouldn’t mind sitting with me and Liv one day to teach us how to operate Q-Lab that would be really helpful.

LS: Van…? Have you booked the van?

RC: No.

LS: Hence… Van…?

RC: I’ll go after Easter and speak to them. If we can’t have the van, they can’t have the set on tour anyway, and I’d rather that to be honest. It doesn’t benefit or hinder us either way if we can get the van or not.

Get in Schedule

LS: I’ve started it, and I’m looking at it roughly, but if all the heads of departments can submit times they need for different things, that would be really helpful.

A.O.B.

SLRC can I have the 9th April to have a final Props Blast and get everything finished?

RC: Yeah, sure.
